Wiring speaker question

My headunit claims to put out 16x4, but I don't have rear speakers, so if I wired them like this, would it make is 32x2? Would it work? Thanks.

The 16X4 is at max that is not rms plus last time I checked I do not think you can bridge haed units so no I do not think it will work

I just figured maybe you could wire it in series or something. Anyone else know?

If you need more power than the HU can provide, buy an amp. You're bound to screw something up trying to do that.

yea i didn't like it... i was hesitant to say anything but i think its a bad idea... you can buy a rockford fosgate 325.2 (80 watts rms * 2 @ 4 ohms) on crutchfield.com for 100 bucks shipped... do that.
