Well.. Me again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I was just wondering, how far back I should strip my power and ground cables to put them into my amp? Does the wire need to touch the back of the terminal, or just be in far enough to accept the screw to hold them there?... Also, should there be exposed wiring visual from the outside of the terminals?

Get the wire as far into the terminal as You can.

How far exactly depends on what amp You have.

Please, please, please make sure that NO stray wires / strands are OUTSIDE of the terminals. If two single strands touch You will NOT be happy.

Okay thank you.

Another question, with the REM wire, the terminal is like 1/2" and the wire is like 5/32"... Is this right? Do I just do the same thing I do with the power/ground cables?

Remote wire - You treat it the same. Strip it off a little longer if You like, assuming that You are using 14gauge or higher - You can fold the stripped part over (like making a loop) and stick that in. With the remote wire You just need good contact. With the power & ground You need as much contact as You can get. Once again, no stray wires. If the remote touchs the ground You WILL have a few sparks and very possilby short out the radio.

Which is why I always install a 500ma glass inline fuse on the radio end of the remote wire - so it cuts the radio out of the circuit before a) the wire melts and causes a fire or b) the radio's internals get toasterized.
