wiring problem?

lately when im driving ill notice that my subs arent hitting that hard, then all of a sudden, theyll start bumping real hard for a while, then get soft again... this just started like a week ago and it concerns me... any idea what it could be?

I notice you said "subs" as in more than one. Chances are one of them is losing connection and when you hit a bump or something it comes back. Check the thin wires connected to the voicecoil, you could have one or more bad ones.

recheck all wires, check wires running to VC's, check wires out of terminal posts on subs, check wires running to amps from subs, check all of them
