Wiring jlw3's to jbl amp

[Pathfinder]

I have a jbl 1200.1 and 2 jlw3-d2's (2 ohm) and I want to wire them to my amp. According to jlaudio they asy if you wire them in series you would get a 2 ohm load. According to jbl you would not get a 2 ohm load.

With the coils wired in series and the speakers wired in parallel:

2 dual 2Ω speakers (D2) will present a 2Ω load.--From jl

Please give me your scoop on this matter.

that sounds correct to me 2 dual 2 ohm subs should give you a 2 ohm load wired in series. if thats wrong ill be ****ed
