Wiring In my trunk

first of alll..there is no fuse in the fuse holder for my trunk light...the wires of my light in my trunk are all cut. the actual light it self has a black wire, theres a little clip that clips onto the trunk, that has an orange and a black wire on it, theres a bolt that bolts the light to the acual trunk and that has a terminal with a black wire. theres a orange and black wire that are ran thru the car and fed to the trunk to connect to the light.....i keep tryin to wire it up..tryin to find what black wire goes to what wire, but every time i do i go to put a fuse in and it immedialtey pops

u sure a fuse goes in that spot? and not the bulb?

i mean where all my fuses are up in my dash..i go to put a 10 amp fuse that controls my power locks and trunk lighting, when i go to do this the fuse pops right away

any one know? i kinda wanna get this fixed, i cant use my power locks and it sucks lol
