i have a:

plye plcape500 capacitor

infinity reference series 5760a amplifier

and a jl audio 500/1 amplifer for jl audio w7 10 in speaker

and i need to know how to wire these up correctly

could you tell me:

1. what gauge wire to use

2. what fuses to use

3. what is the correct procedure to wire a capacitor properly because when i bought my car with all this stuff inside the lights used to dim while the bass was playing

also could you tell me how good the things i have are because it is really hard to find reviews on things like this

1. might as well get 1/0 gauge wire. its a pain to rewire if you upgrade.

2. 300 amp fuse

3. wont need a cap. do the big 3 upgrade and you'll be ok, no dimming.

w7s are good but not worth the money IMO.

its upgrading the wires that connect alternator to battery, battery to ground and engine to ground. just google "big 3 upgrade" or check out the "Official big 3 upgrade" thread at the top of this section

that'll be ok just run the wire from the fron to the back

with 500 rms you shouldn't need to do anything at all but use a good 4 guage wire (brand name not pyle) KnuKonceptz.com is great stuff and affordable as well. but the upgrades mentioned above will always help either way.
