wiring help.

Ii wil be install my system soon and i'm trying to get the wiring i need together.

I've been scouring the forums for the correct size wires.

Here's what i'll be using.

1. Zapco Studio 300X to power my front stage... Cdt's

2. Phoenix Gold Tantrum 500.2 to my single 10" Memphis M3104D

I'm thinking 4 gauge power wire & 12 gauge speaker. Is this to much, too little,

or just right?

Next question. Should i run the ground off the battery, using a battery terminal, like i'll be running the power? Or is chassis ground adequate.

Next, next question....Is the fancy twisted speaker, aka monster wire and such, worth the extra cost than the plain speaker wire of the same gauge.
