I have a JL Audio 13.5 W6V2 and a rockford fosgate 1001bd which i believe is rated at 1000watts RMS @ 2 ohms and i think the sub is dual 4 ohm...with these configurations is it possible for me to wire it up to run at 1000 watts???

yep, wire the sub in parallel.

Your amp is rated for 750 watts at 2 ohms. Your sub is only rated for 500 watts. Probably okay if you're careful.

If you get a second sub, and wire both to the amp for a 1-ohm load, you'll get 500 watts for each sub. That would be the ideal combination.

do i have enough airspace in the trunk on an 02 maxima to run two 13.5s
