Wiring help on amp and subs

so i have a orion hcca 2400 and 2 p10d4 subs and not sure if the way i have them wired would be the best for the amp , reason i have these subs and not the h2 10.04 is because i only have .61 of a cubic foot of air to work with since its in a dodge truck crew cab , not much room in them trucks .. so the amp is not bright and the amp are wires as so , they are dual voice coil , neg from one side is in the pos. of the other and then the wires that come from the amp are put in the empty slots , hope that helps

you have 2 d4 subs and the amp is 1ohm stable......

I would wire the coils parallel for 2ohm/sub, then parallel to the amp for a 1ohm final load. that should yield you 1200wrms available, and you can set the gain accordingly.

What ohm are the coils on the sub, what ohm is the amp capable of running at, and how many rms is the sub?

If I remember right, the P1's are only rated for about 150w and that Orion is rated for about 400 at 4 ohms and 1200 at 1 ohm. Hook it up as a 4 ohm load otherwise you'll be sending 600 watts each to those little guys.
