Hi, im new to this and i was just wondering how should i hook the wires up to my sub for best performance...... I will be running a JL 250/1 amp which is rated at 250 w rms @ 1.5-4 ohms at 0.05% distortion and one JL 12 inch w6 which is dual 6 ohm. Should i hook the wires up in parrarel to yeild a 3 ohm load? Or in series to make a 12 ohm load? Thanks

A good x-over point to start with would be 80hz. You can adjust a click up or down from there to suit your preferences. Beyond that I agree with all Jmac's recommendations.
