wiring configurations for 2 ohm dvc

So it is late at night and i am trying to help a friend order some stuff off ebay.

He is looking at some 2 ohm dvc subs.

What are all of the possible final ohm ratings be?

In my current state i can only thing of 2 ohm and .5 ohm. A little help would...um...help.

Well are you running 1x 2ohm DVC driver or 2x 2ohm DVC driver?

Because you could get 3 different setups with 2x drivers

8, 2 or .5

they meant 4 or 1 for each sub.

parallel/series each one and get 0.5 or 2

Your amp most likly won't like the .5 ohms. But most likely wont develope enough wattage at 2.... Unless it's made for that case

So you will need to run the final ohm load at 2 ohms... Most likly....

Which means that you can parallel the coils on each driver and then series the two subs together or series the two coil and parallel the two subs...
