How you wire your subs depends on how many Ohms each is, and what they need to be running at. Wire gauges will also slightly differ.

do you guys know just a broad guess of how much speaker wire i will need from amp in trunk to all 4 doors? i dont know how ill be running it under carpet so ill get extra i just hav eno clue what its around at all

30ft. is about $15 on http://www.woofersetc.com . 2 rolls of that should be plenty. Again, take out the tape measure, and take some time measuring and recording how much of everything you need.

alright cool. im guna get knu tho, for 100 ft its only 50 bucks. or is that way to much? yea 91chevy, i will tommorow morning, i was just trying to get an estimate. and im not sure how ill run it so measuring exactly would be hard. but yea tommorow ill give that a shot

stick with the 100 feet, You dont wanna try and guess to close, becuase your never gonna be sure if your gonna need to go around somthing, or a different route and need more wire,

if im buying wire from the distroblock to the amp and from the amp to the speakers seperately, is there a point in buying an amp kit? i have two amps btw.

and could the distroblock to the amp be 8gA? or does it have to be 4

Depends on the RMS of the amp. Id suggest 4ga tho, If your giving the Type R's the power they want.

If i were you, Id price together a kit since KNU is out of stock on the 1/0 kit's.

Either that, Or go to Ebay and buy a Kicker 1/0 multiple amp kit. It'll have everything you need, including fuse holders and distro block's. There about $105.

woudlent all i need (if i pieced it together) would be 1/0 from batt to distroblock, then from distroblock 4ga to both amps, then from amps to ground and to speakers/subs? so why is that so dang expensive on ebay?

ok i reliazed something. if im wiring to one ohm, the wire split into two and one end each goes to a sub. (as in pic above in thread) how to i split the wire?

For speaker wire, Just run a length of 12-8ga wire to each terminal.

im not talking about speakers. im talking about two subs wired to 1 ohm. how do i split the cable so it goes to both positives or both negatives

You will have 4 leads. 2 positive and 2 negative. Run the wire from the amp to one side + and - an run another wire from that side to the other side, + and -
