so, this is whatim thinking of putting into my car (1990 mercedes benz eclass)
im pretty new to car audio though i know a little bit about electrical wiring, and a little bitmore about home stereos, anyway heres the sytem and my questions, iwould really appreciate anyhelp anyone is willing to offer:
alpine cde-9841 receiver, seems decent, 16wattsx 4 chan rms, with 32watts peak
audiobahn-aw1571se 15" subs, 500 watts rms with 1000wattpeak all at 4 ohms. I would like to run two ofthese off the following amp, but first im not sure whatthe best way is to wire this, because theamp is unstable at 1 ohm i thinkparrallel/parallel is not a good idea, and i have heard of problems with parallel systems before, anyway maybe im just stupid, so let me knowwhatyou think on wiring this.
audiobahn a8000t intake series amp- this amp is real nice looking and runs 400 watts x onechannel at 4ohms, and 800 watts at 2 ohms. I dontknow ifthis wouldbeenough to good a nice thumping soundfromthese two subs,if n otlet me know.
finally, the subs are offered in a 12" model which doesnt differ inform, just power, it handles 400watts at 4ohms, with peakat 800 watts. anyway let me know what youall think.
