Are the super high dollar RCA's worth buying? the 40dollar for 3 foot rca's. Just wondering who makes good cheap RCA's right now i have decent no names that are shielded..etc. but id like some nice ones. Have a 4 channel amp for my comps. and Sub amp so lookin for a set of 4 channel and 2 channel ones for not to much. just wondering if i really need to spend a but load on rca's.

I have a set of walmart brand in my truck, i replaced it from a shorter cable i had ran through my car that cost quite a bit. I didn't notice any diffrence. But some people say it does matter, i dunno maybe it does and i just can't hear the diffrence cause i'm not experienced enough.

Need some nicely built ones I could probably help you in that department.

I just bought a huge batch of ends and started making some custom cables with streetwires zn5.0 ends.

There are some photos of a set of SACD lines I made - still deciding on longer car lengths what to make the "Y" junction out of, but I'm probably going to use adhesive lined heatshrink.

Just let me know what you need and I can probably help you - been making my own cables for several years now.

i got an audiopipe rca on my room setup...its cheap and long and hasnt failed me yet and it moves around almost everyday when i gotto get my books...

Really expensive interconnects is a load of bunk. Just about every rca cable is shielded, the ends are the most important peices.

Making your own isn't hard, find some high quality RCA plug ins and shielded cable and make some solders. More details can be found at http://www.bcae1.com

I'd trust what jlaine is selling, though I can't see them or the price becuase I forgot my password and used up my 5 login attemps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif !

Main difference between expensive RCA's and cheap-o's is build quality and quality of the insulation. The cheap walmart RCA's are known to have the ends fall off/internal connections go bad.

Or, pick up a pair of the Jlaine special RCA's.

Jlain if u could pm or email me justshoe@adelphia.net i may be interested in some of your sets. Right now i have 3 differnt brands/types running to my amps and im guessing it would at least be good to have 3 of the same kind. I just need to figure a more exact length for each lain.thnx

Figure out what length you need for them all and just shoot me off a e-mail to webmaster@soundillusions.net

Then I'll arrange a quote for you personally when I know exactly what you need for lengths. I cut everything to length, so measure it out good and you won't have any slop sitting around like most of us usually end up with when buying prefabs.

Odd... My apologies. I thought I had the gallery setup so that everyone could view it.

I'll fix that right now.

*edit* - Done, you should be able to see the work now. Sorry about that.

Josh

I'll definately give u an email once i figure out exactly what length i'll be needing. IM going to be replacing some things tommorw so i'll be able to measure.
Works for me!

I can only assemble them on the weekends as I work on the road - but I've got photos of past work and I can provide plenty of references if you feel you need them of course. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
