Wiring an amp for power

2007 Ford Sport Trac. The amp/sub makes a pop upon start up. Someone suggested to me that maybe the amp is turning on before the unit ??? I currently have 2 blue/white wires coming from the harness and they are both connected to a single blue/white wire going into the head unit.

i get a polarized cap and wire it to the remote wire. Slows down the amp turning on because the cap must charge first. As long as you dont rapidly turn the deck on and off the pop should be gone.

I'm steering away from a grounding issue because I had no issues before I uninstalled my last head unit. But anything is possible. Thanks.

Am I able to hook the 2 blue/white "amp turn on wires" to any other wires for power?... Can I connect them directly to the remote wire?... Will that then cause the delay I need?
