Wiring Amp Help

Does anyone have the problem hook there ground wire and Power 12 volt wire in their Amp.. My Wires are huge and they wont ever STAY any ideas.. yah this is a pointless thread but its really making me mad..

if the wire is to big for amp input why not just trim enough to hook amp up. like trim the last 1/4" or so
