I am trying to wire a PAL interface (for door and warning chimes) into a Pioneer DEH X55HD system for my Daughters 2004 Impala. My questions are,

Do I connect the red wires from the harness and Interface together, or do I need to run the Interface red wire to a wire in the car's harness / fuse box? The Manufacturer says the Interface needs to be connected to a 2 amp circuit by itself.

Also, do I connect the black wires together from both harnesses or do I need to run one or both to a ground in the car?

Thanks,

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
