Wiring a Dual Voice Coil Sub

350 total however you want to achieve it. be it 175 on each coil or 350 mono to both coils combined //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Ya, So Id simply use a 350 watt amp right? There are dual terminals,, does this mean each terminal needs to have power to it? Or can I just use one terminal? (By terminals, I mean re3d/black on one side, and another on the other side)

Thanks bro!

It really depends on the amp. I would reccomend using both coils ( connecting all four terminals ) You won't hurt anything by using just one coil. But you will lose power handeling. What is the impedence of the coils of your sub ? I could help you pick out an amp to suit your needs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Im getting the Infinity Perfect 12.1d 12" subwoofers, 2 of them.

I was thinking of the Profile Clarus CL1200 amp, rated 400x2 @ 4 ohms.

Ill never use just one coil!
