Hey I am buying a pair of subs this week and I am wondering wether its better to get 2 or 4 ohm DVCs. I know if you wire 2 4-ohm DVCs in Parrellel you can get a 1 ohm load outta them and split the amp power to each sub, I am wondering if this puts a hell of a load on the amp. Thanks for your time

sort of ya depends on the amp though but I wouldnt personally run a 1 ohm load I use two and sometimes I am scared of a fire on my cheap *** amp

not many amps can handle a one ohm mono load. but with dual 4 ohm subs you can run the subs at 2ohm stereo which a lot more amps can handle. dual 2ohm are good two but you have to look at more wiring options, i just got a pair of audiobahn aw1208x's they are dual 1ohm and i am going to run them at .5 ohm stereo to a ma audio high current amp

hey panther before I bought my system I looked at those subs and those amps so will you tell me how it works out which amp is it btw
