Okay my amp aint the greatest it is the crunch i have been griping about and I dont want to run it too low of an ohm like 2 at the lowest and I sort of need it at two to push my dvc 12 type R's(dvc 4ohm). 300 watt rms on the subs the amp is 4 channels and 125 watt per channel and if i wire it down to 2 ohm it should be 250 per channel. Realisticly I would be perfectly happy if it put out 175-200 watts per channel. Anyway if I run 1 channel to one voice coil then what ohmage would I be at I NEED TO NO BAD IF YOU KNOW PLEASE DONT HOLD OUT ON ME! Would this cheap crunch amp die under the stress? What would it be called if i wired it like this is it possible!??! Anyway please help me as best you can I need answers to all my ?'s

well i looked up the specs for crunch amps and all of them are only stable to 4 ohms so it would break under the pressure i think. if you wanted to get a 4 ohm mono load you can wire each speaker to 8ohms and then each one of those together to make a 4 ohm mono load .
