Wiring 6 speakers and a sub to a 4ch?!?

Ok, Im wiring up my dads boat for him(01 mastercraft maristar). My question is what is the best way to wire the 6 speakers and the sub to a 4ch? I mean i can do it but the sub will play all frequencies? So idk.

bridge the 2 rear channels and use the front 2 for mids, series/parallel

Thats what i figured but wont the ohm load be too low with 6 4 ohm speakers on the front 2 channels?

A stock clarion 4ch. We had some morons do work on the boat and they ****ed up the wiring while working on other stuff(steering column, haha). Idk how the **** they did it. But anyways ive got the deck rewired, the amp wired up, and only 4 speakers hooked up to the front channel and the sub hooked up.

if there differant size speakers use a passive xover for like a 6 and a tweeter. then u only need 2 channels for 4 speakers then the other channels can power individual ones

Without a passive xover, or an amp that does 1 ohm stereo, I don't see how you can pull it off. Are you running a deck? Just run two speakers off the deck, 4 off the front two channels on the amp, and bridge the rear two to the sub.

Thats what i was thinking. Im just not gonna hook up 2 speakers. I guess they were running the sub with all frequencies.

if you run four of them in series and two in parallel. depending on speaker locations this will work fine. if you run a set off of each channel in series to get an 8 ohm load and another speaker off each channel at 4 ohms that will give you about 6 ohm load. then run the sub off of the other 2ch's bridged.
