Wired remote help.....

Alright guys--I have found one guy that has completed this install and his boat is inaccessible in storage right now so I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out. I have this head unit.....

Kenwood has told me it can't be done--BS!!

Come on guys--I know the audiophiles out there can figure this out.
