Is there any spade type wire terminal that is 1/0? If there isnt, is there any other way to still use 1/0 wire to hook up a amp that doesnt have direct connects.

So the amp you're connecting this to doesn't accept 1/0 wire? Use 4awg and get a reducer...

na its one of those amps with a screw that holds down the wire. It isnt direct connects with a allen wrench. Or do you think 4 gauge will be enuff for the amp? Its kinda of a long run cuz I keep the amp on top of the box for cooling. What you think. Again the amp is a JBL GTO 1201.1

No i think he means that he has an amp that needs spade connectors of 0/1 gauge.

well the biggest spade i see there is 4 gauge. Do u guys think 4 gauge wire is enuff for that amp?

Yes. Keep it short. Like wire your 0/1 to a distro (like the 0/1 to 2x4awg they have at Knu) and then keep the 4 gauge short just in case.

well I got a stinger block which is 1/0 all around. I already got some 1/0 coming from the batt. Sorry to got off topic but I was testin that thing out with a DMM and it does 13.5 when the cars off and 14.8 when the cars on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif . Well I gess Ima go with the 4 gauge wire. Im just gonna have to mount the amp sideways to make it shorter. I dont want to put it on the back cuz it doesnt get any air there and might over heat.

Dude don't frown at 13.5 when the car is off! your battery is only supposed to be 12v, so 13.5 is a good number

heh well... it's only 80 amps, it's shown a slight decrease in performance (more dimming) since i hooked up my Koda's... by the way i'm running my PPI amp (100amp max) and RE 35.1 (90amp max) for a total of probably around 1600 to 2000wRMS...

2000RMS on an 80 amp alt will kill it eventually

I'll be counting on Excessive Amperage. They have a better price for me anyway (last offer I got was $260 for a 200A)
