Wire Kits vs. piece by piece

So I'm getting a total of 2 amps for under my seats and will need wires, fuses, etc...Sounds like kits are very popular. Do they end up costing less than buying each part of the kit separately? Almost looks like a kit could be overkill if I don't need 20' of wire for example. I'm looking at Knukonceptz 4 guage kits right now.

Wire kits are almost always going to be cheaper.

For example, you could buy the Knu 1/0 kit for 84.99, grab two 1/0 to 4ga reducers, and be done.

If you piece by pieced it, you'd have 25 feet of 1/0 to get (lets say 60 bucks), RCAS for 10 or 15, cable loom for 5, snap bushing for 30 cents, a fuse holder for 20, and 1/0 reducers for about 15

so unless you get a GREAT price on wire, you end up spending 110.30 to 115.30 instead of a lil over a hundred.

when you compare 4 guage kits to piecing it together the savings becomes even more obvious...
