If an amp installion instructions say use 8gauge wire will it hurt the amp if you use 4gauge, and what amount of watts would 8gauge power at max and what will 4gauge power at max. DON'T KILL ME I'M NEW AT THIS GUYS! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/help.gif.cee8f684da1ba626487a8bc51152e1ec.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/help.gif.cee8f684da1ba626487a8bc51152e1ec.gif

No it won't hurt the amp, it will help if anything...

ohh yah..... DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

no...its actually better for your system because bigger wire allows more current to flow...and the more current that flows...the higher wattage your speakers get...

...that is if your amp has terminals big enough for 4 gauge...
