Big 3 done in 1/0awg up front

Optima redtop up front

4 ga to the amp.

If i were to add a yellowtop to the back, Would i need to upgrade the 4ga wiring? or would 4ga be sufficient?

Also do i HAVE to run a second run of whatever GA for the negative to negative, or can i get away with grounding it to the frame for now?

Ill just be running an Orion 1200D, and maybe a 150x2 later down the road.

With my old hinfonics 1606D i was getting LARGE voltage drop's. Would the secondary batt help me out? Or should i go for an HO Alt instead? [Would REALLY rather gowith a $75 battery, then a $300 alt.]

What car or what size alt?

I would do 1/0 from front to back battery since you are over 1kw.

i bet my welding cable is just as flexible //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

but the point is you don't NEED knu to connect batteries, as dude ^^^ there implied.

Guess ill find someone to buy my 4ga.

And from what ive read, My 350a Circuit breaker is too big even for 1/0? I ran it for months on my 4ga, And it was fine.

My Alt is a 70a [i know, VERY low. Was thinking about going iraggi 180 amp or so, but id rather wait to get one that puts out atleast 160a at idle.], Figured a secondary would help.. True?

And i surely dont need to even think about adding another 1200D to my system, Untill i DO get the alt, Correct?

4ga will burn before it gets to 350a i believe.

i run 300a ANL between batteries, and 150 ANL to the amps.

i'd see what this does before planning the second amp. you probably will need the alt for that

omg seeing these thread like this are getting old.

If you dont like it, turn around and leave. i know questions like this have been answered time and time again, however, Most vehicles come with 130a+, Mine has a 70a alt. there is a BIG difference there, Which is why im asking for advice.

Now if you dont got any helpful info, Take your one spam post, And go elseware.

Jco, Do you think a 350a Circuit breaker would be alright on the Alt to bat wire, with 1/0 ga? I KNEW it was too big of a circuit breaker, But the clueless guy at the audio shop sold me on it, Saying id have plenty of "Headroom".

go back and read some noob, dont start talking trash til you actually know something, also you dont need a circuit breaker or fuse between alty and batt.
