correct wiring

ok i have a memphis 16-MC2000D amp, and i got 2 kicker L7's. the amp has 2 - and 2 + but i think its mono. should i wire it like this

are the subs d2 or d4? the amp is still a mono block they just give you two terminals to connect your subs to. since the amp is only 2 ohm stable it'd be good if we knew what vc the subs had... after looking at the diagrams u provided i'm guessing dual 4s so this is how you would wire them::

take sub 1 and run a postive from one coil to a negative on the other coil that will leave you with a neg and a pos one from each coil. wire both subs that way. now each sub is at an 8 ohm load. you will then run the wires from teh subs to the corrisponding terminals on the amp. that will give the amp a 4 ohm load with d4s that is your only choice.

ya they are d4. so i wire them kinda like the first diagram, but dont connect sub1 to sub2, just connect them to the amp?
