Winter Of Sound Installs

honestly the idea would have been nice if you wanted your sub bass up front in the cabin then i would have just done a single 6" downfire and maybe glassed the enclosure into teh exsisting center console.

honestly the job just standout like a sore thumb and looks kinda ghetto to me but if your happy then thats all that matter.

What do you mean? It is up front in the cabin

Laying down some 1/0. Would have a few more pics but they got corrupted for some reason.

The old 4 gauge has got to go:

Or maybe Focal Utopia Be No. 7s?
beleave it or not, the K2P have more mid bass. ive hurd both many times. and yes there wher NO .7 3 way set up with shit loads of power.

ALSO your "0" gauge install has one flaw, and realy isnt any better then running 4 gauge front to back. The fact that you have factory 8 gauge running from the battery to the factory fuse/distro block, and then 0 gauge to your amps aint gonna do you any good. there still a bottle neck

I'm going to do the big 3. But that may or may not be true that there is a bottleneck. It depends greatly on distance. You could run all the power your car needs through 8 gauge if you only had to go a couple inches. But just to play it safe, I'll upgrade that too. Thanks!

Oh and how do No. 7s sound? Are they really worth their multi thousand price tag?
i dont think so, also the resone im telling you to upgrade the wire from the battery to the factory fuse block is the power at the fuse block feeds alot of the car. you will have bad light dimmage, cause on top of your 100+ amps of curant needs from your amp, the car wants 40-60 amps for all its accesorys

Your right. I do have bad dimmage when it's loud. Sometimes my amps turn off when they pull the voltage on the battery too low. I know, I know, I need to get this fixed before my alternator/battery/etc gives out on me.

Here's a vid of them in action. They actual have some decent excursion and get pretty low for 6.5" subs.

Haha! You know it! That's going to be hidden away eventually. It switches between what amp I want on because the JLs sound clean but the infinity's get loud so I switch it depending on my listening mood.
