Winter Of Sound Installs

Sorry, but not feeling it.........Had a guy I knew that did this in a Caddy and was the worst sounding front stage ever! Could hear the one on the drivers side, but not so much on the passenger side and then he had speakers in the doors, which sounded like it was canceling eachother out.

Remember these are subs not midranges, so you only hear the bass, not guitars, voices, cymbals, etc, so it's really hard to discern where these are sitting in my setup. I've got the low pass set a little above 100.

Maybe your friend had his crossover points wrong, then it could have a serious potential to mess up the soundstage.

In fact, when I have these and only my rear 6x9s playing, it sounds like they are in the rear.

The subs are rating 150W RMS. I've got a Kenwood KAC-8104D amp wired in parallel giving them each up to 250WRMS if I'm doing my math right. The amp can push 500Wx1 @ 2 ohms, so if I had two subs in parallel @ 2 ohms each would receive 250W right?

Look what I received in the mail from Knukonceptz:

20ft of Kolossus Fleks Kable 1/0 AWG Wiring

8ft of Kolossus Fleks Kable 4 Gauge Blue

8ft of Kolossus Fleks Kable 4 Gauge Red

Two Karma SS Y Adapter 1 Female to 2 Male RCAs

25ft of Karma SS 12 Gauge Speaker Wire

Some Ring Terminals and Disconnects for the 12Gauge

for what u spent om those 2 woofers, and for what ever you may have spent on the rest of your front end, you could had a realy good 2 way or even a 3 way set up that would put that all to shame, and have a little more stealt look to it. as some one stated, thats about what i'd expect from CA.com

just to let u know that amp is not putting out 500 watts the 9104d is rAtted at 900 watts at 2ohm and only put out less than 500 but it's all good if you like how they sound
