As much as I dislike Trump he was also in office when they had to shut down the country due to Covid so that number doesn't really tell the whole story
I can't believe I'm defending him

But, I thought the virus was fake and just disappear? At least, that's what our trusty President repeatedly told us. Trump makes Obama own his four years in office, the good and the bad. So, Trump has to own his four years, the good and the bad. Tbe numbers don't lie. 6.6 million jobs lost and over 550,000 American deaths during his four years. Facts are facts. Just like he lost the election by over 7 million votes. Another fact.

Yep, all facts......laced with talking points. The best lies contain 80% truth. It was stupid for him to say a lot of the things he said. Emphasis on ALOT. But I still believe that the same amount of people die regardless of who was president. I’m not sure any of the lockdowns even worked either. Cases per 100,000 residents over the last year isn’t much different in lockdown states than ones that didn’t lock down. They will cherry pick stats, but it doesn’t really look like the lockdowns stopped very much. New Jersey, New York and Massachusetts have the highest death rate, and they were locked down for a long time.

It is hard to explain things to people who take every word spoken by someone as literal and don't understand sarcasm, common sense, have no actual comprehension skills or are actually just that ignorant.

This is more of a problem when people don't like someone for whatever reason and take what they say literally on purpose just so they have something to blame them for when idiots do what they do and have to blame someone later for their own stupidity.
