And in 2008, everything crashed. That's when Bush Jr. left a shittty economy for Obama to fix.
Stop with the political spin. That just isn’t true either. The bubble that burst under bush was 25 years in the making under multiple presidents. This is exactly what I mean when I say that our electorate doesn’t care to educate themselves enough to deserve a free country. We deserve to fail.

All those crazy loans happened while Jr. was in office. 25 years in the making, not really. Housing prices really started going crazy here around 2005 and crashed in 2008. I was out there building for some of the biggest builders in the nation, I watched it. The company that I worked for in 2006 framed just under 9,000 houses that year. And, people were literally lining up on Friday night to buy them on Saturday morning when they got released.

Society is always going to change over time, regardless of who the President is. There's so many factors at play; the whole picture has to be seen together. The President doesn't have as much control as people maybe think. The President has massive power, typically, but not necessarily control. There's a lot of things that go on unseen and there are places well hidden where long term operations are, and that's all inside of our country and many across the world. Many world leaders and just almost every individual would have a hard time putting everything together. I'm not sure if anyone really can. People have to trust others in order for this whole system to operate, and that's why there's problems, world wide. There's always been entirely too many snakes on this plane for any centralized control system to function as designed.

Individual freedoms are essential because of this problem. It's just a humanity thing. Any system that's too big will fail, if it requires a centralized control structure where there's tons of middlemen. We have a lot of state power in the US for this reason. We have a lot of individual rights specifically for this reason. We had a resource backed currency for a reason. All of that is gone, almost. That's why everything is upside down. The federal government is just supposed to protect the country, mainly from the outside threats. It's just been turned into some kind of machine now. It's eating us alive, basically.
