wine through speakers

i just installed some pioner 6x9 ds691's on a pioneer amp. and when i'm driving i hear a real loud whine come from the co axals as the rpm changes so does the whine. what could it be bad ground? i also had this prob with my subs but not as loud. i have a shitty pioneer HU thats old don't even know the model, i got it for $90.

you have a ground problem. make sure your amp is wired correctly. i recommend doing the " big 3".

big 3 is in o gauge.amp is wired correctly too. ima try and re ground it a little better. think it could be the head unit?

check "engine whine and ground loop fixes" sticky in the wiring, electrical, installation section.

Probably a silly question but are your RCA interconnects run along with the amp power wires? This could also cause a whine to get picked up that would vary with rpm.

im pretty sure the consensus around here is that your rcas should not run next to your power wires. could very well be part of your problem

well i fixed it. it was the ground for the HU RCAs
