Will this work with my component set?

I need 2 new crossovers for my Cadence CWM6 component set. I have the model that has 6 1/2 inch mid drivers and 1inch alluminum tweeters. I run about 100-130w rms to each set. Will these diamond crossovers work?

most likely not, it's not that the crossover will not "work" but they wont sound very good

the reason behind this is that the cadence speakers and the diamond speakers differ in spec and capability, not that one is better than the other but they use different speaker design i imagine.

now the problem with this is that the cross over points for the mids and the tweets are made for the diamond speakers and if matched with the cadence you can have tweeter harshness, lacking midbass, and a bad sound in general.

if you need crossovers, i would try getting an external active crossover or use the active xover in your headunit (if you have one with built in xover) this will allow you to tune your system more efficiently and find optimum xover points for your speakers.

good luck

does a pioneer deh3800 have an active xover built into it?
