Will this work (TYPE-R QUESTION)

and a sony xplod 1000 watt amp blew them.

now i'm planning on getting one type-r 12'' and replacing one of the two infintys with it.

But my question is will the type-r work okay with a unhooked sub next to it in that box????

i've had type-rs in the past with CUSTOM BUILT boxes but just to save on money i was going to use that box with a unhooked sub still in and the type-r.

it will not sound right. you would be better off depending on if the box is single or dual chamber just taking both subs out and putting one type-r in

because the tuning probably isnt right, the air space isnt right, and it would just be stupid. Why not spend 30 bucks and build a box for it the right way?

i mean i do have a guy who will build a box for a carton of cigs but i just wanted to get opinions on my idea.

yea he's preety good seeing as he has 4 15'' ''AA HAVOCS'' and let me tell you i've been inside his truck and my chest was hurting and let me tell you i have a high tolrence (SPELLING) for bass.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

2.75 cuft after displacement to like 35hz.

i like deep and hard hitting bass so i'm looking for spl (the most i can get out of that R)

so what dimensions should i use now???

2.75 tuned to 35hz.....for daily. If you want *** but sounds good on only young jeezy tune to 40hz
