will this sub/amp combo work?

I've got an old Sony XM-250 2 channel amp, it says it's bridgeable. I think that it gives 50x2 watts but I'm thinking about using it for a sub that I'm contemplating - which is one JL 6W0 in a box specd by JL. The sub is rated at 75w - how can I get this to work, if at all, with the amp?

AND - I'm thinking about setting this sub to fire into the passenger compartment and not locking it in the trunk. This would sound better than leaving it in the trunk, correct?
