How do I wire a sub in parallel? I am about to buy some subs soon but my friend has a S12L7 and a sony amp which is what I was going to get but changed to a S15L7. Well we are trying to figure out because the thing says that if you wire the sub in parallel you can get 900 watts rms. So how do we do this?

You twist all the the speakers negatives together and put them in the negative slot on the amp. Do the same thing with the positives and put them in the positives in the positive slot. Thats how you do it when you have multiple speaker. If your just running one im not sure, but I believe it's the same way.

Wire from the positive on your amp, to the positive on one coil, to the positive on the other coil. Do the same with the negative.

The above would also be parallel, but this way there is only 2 wires to the amp.
