Hi I have two Alpine SWR-1041D Type R sub woofers. They are dual coil and each have a 300 watt RMS @ 4 ohm load.
I want to attach a Rockford Fosgate Punch P3002 Car Amp to it. Its specs are as follows:
Number of Channels 2
Rated Power
continuous power 75W x 2 @ 4-Ohms RMS
150W x 2 @ 2-Ohms RMS
300W x 1 @ 4-Ohms bridged RMS
Total Power
total sum of 'rated power' 300 Watts
Dynamic Power
powercube measurement (info) 114 Watts x 1 @ 4-Ohms 0° Res
184 Watts x 1 @ 2-Ohms 0° Res
Bridgeable Yes
I was thinking about bridging it and getting the 300W x 1 @ 4ohm setup. If I do a 4 ohm load wiring
http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp?submitted=true&woofer_qty=2&woofer_imp=4
Will this work and will it give me the maximum?
