Will this help my voltage?

Alright, got fuses fixed. Now when I get my shyt up and bumping my 300/4 will go into protection because my volts drop around 12.4-12.6 on heavy notes. I have My grounds for the Big 3 done, but not my Alt to Bat + (alt is almost impossible to get to lol). Anyways to my point will buying a yellow top help these voltage drops?

I know it's a voltage problem because the harder my sub hits the quicker it happens. Like if I adjust it on on my HU so the low level is +6 it cuts out at lower volume (a.k.a the sub hits ALOT harded) but if its at 0 I can crank it up a bit more before it does it.

I would finish the big 3 before you even think about getting a yellow top, the grounds that you have right now arent doing shit for you without the alt run in.

Alright, I will do that this weekend hopefully. I gotta figure out how to get down there wihtout taking my radiator out. But can somebody please anwser the original ?...will the optima help maintain volts better?

Ahh, well now that makes a difference.. Well, I still don't think the battery is your issue.. What you should do first is run 0awg to the trunk, 4awg out from a distro to each of the amps, triple check your grounds, and finish your big 3.. I run the same setup in a car with a far less powerful alt and I never have voltage drops to the point of my shit cutting out no matter how hard I bump it.. A yellowtop won't hurt, but IMO it's not the cause of your problem.. Sounds to me like you have a bad ground somewhere.. And 4awg is nowhere near enough to run those 2 amps.. You should have specified your equipment in your first post, or at least had it in your sig.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Haha alright, I will go buy some do that in a lil bit and see how well it helps. Is there any way to check my grounds with a meter? If so, inform me what I am looking for.

No, not really.. Just make sure they are as short as possible, and very securely fastened to a clean spot on the body.. Clean meaning no paint, no rust, no nothing, just bare metal.. Check the connections at the amp end as well and retighten the allen screws in the amps.. And get that 0ga installed.. That's probably your biggest problem right there..
