Will this amp work well with this sub?

Hi guys, Quick question will this amp work with this sub with no problems? Or is it too overkill for the sub? If it will work, will the clarity of the music be good and will it have decent bass as I might have to turn the gain all the way down?

I have a Pioneer Championship series sub. It’s a TS-W308D4: Dual-Voice Coil Design 4 ohm x 2 so it need 2 ohm to run (I think? It has 2 ohms near the channels so..). It runs at 400 rms and it’s max power is 1400 watts. The amp is a Kenwood KAC 9152D. RMS Power @ 4 ohms 500 watts x 1 channels RMS Power @ 2 ohms 900 watts x 1 ochannels Max power is 1800Wl

It will work great. Love those old Kenwood amps. Run the sub @ 2ohms and you should be fine. Make sure you set the amps gain properly. I ran these two for a while in a 280zx. That amp will move that sub great. If the sub is in a good enclosure it should sound awesome. Do some research on setting amp gains. It will help a lot.

Thanks a lot for your help. :)  just worried it won’t sound too good with the gain all the way down but from what you said I might be able to set it up a little ?
