I already own RAINBOW CS 265 PROFI VANADIUMs and an ARC AUDIO FD4150 to power it. The arc is a 4 channel amp. Is there anyway I can use it to power both speakers AND a sub while providing enough power to the Rainbows?
The Rainbows are rated at:
The amp is rated at:
The IDQ 8" sub is rated at:
2 Ohm Impedance: 1/4 Ohms
The IDQ 8" sub is rated at:
4 Ohm Subwoofer Impedance: 2/8 Ohms
Is there anyway to have it power the speakers and one of the ID subs (if so which one, the 2 or 4 ohm one?)
What would be the breakdown of how many watts the sub and speakers receive? I do not want the speakers to be underpowered.
The Rainbows are rated at:
- Peak Power: 180 Watt
- Power Rating: 120 Watt
- Minimal amplifier power: 75 Watt
- Sensitivity: 90 db 1W/1m
- Impedance: 4 Ohm
The amp is rated at:
- 80 Watts x4 @4 ohms
- 160 Watts x4 @2 ohms
- 320 Watts x2 @4 ohms bridged
- Transient distortion:
The IDQ 8" sub is rated at:
2 Ohm Impedance: 1/4 Ohms
- Power Handling 150W RMS/300W MAX
- Power: 50-350W RMS
The IDQ 8" sub is rated at:
4 Ohm Subwoofer Impedance: 2/8 Ohms
