Ok, I'm trying to power 3 15" JBL subs. Each are 4omh DVC, and each have a max RMS of 300. So add the three together, i need a max of 900W RMS from an amp.

Here is the amp i'm looking at buying for $300 from Best Buy:

KENWOOD KAC-9103D

Now if i'm wiring my subs like in this diagram: http://www.crutchfield.com/learningcenter/car/subwoofers_wiring.html?imageID=3DVC%5F4%2Dohm%5Fmono

Then the ohm load on the amp will be 2.7

The amp's description claims 900W RMS @ a 2ohm load.

I know this means i will have a max RMS lower than 900W, but will it even matter, or be noticable at all? Will I have to worry about overheating?

And over all, is if this amp going to be a good or bad choice for me, because $300 is a perfect price.

Thanks

According to the specs that amp looks to be a pretty good fit for you. If you like the features and price go for it. I wouldn't think overheating should be a concern.
