try disconnecting the speaker see if it still does it also check ur ground

I did. I've tried everything! I have a Mmats 3000.05.

If it protects with only postive, negative, and remote hooked up it is probably broken.

Have you disconnected both the RCA *and* speaker wires at the same time?

Tried it with a direct connection from the battery outside the car to isolate a power wire short of some kind?

Yea, just remote to positive and positive to positive and negative to negative. With the battery outside of the car. So I hope it's not broke. If it is, is it fixable?

your remote wire is connected to the batt?

Most of the time amps are repairable. Is it under warranty ?

No I bought it from I guy on here and then it stopped working after a couple days. It was fine when I got it but then it just started doing this. So idk. I'd spend good money to get fixed. I need it fixed too. And hooked remote to positive on the amp.
