Sparks mean its working!
I'm looking to put a 12" Fi Q behind the seat of my std. cab s10. Here are the dimensions of what I have to work with (these dimensions are from back of cab to seat.

12" Bottom Depth

13" High

6"Top Depth

Width not a problem

The specs on the Q are

7" mounting depth

7.5" magnet width

If anyone can help me design an enclosure that would let this sub fit while leaving adequate room for excursion, cooloing, etc. i would greatly aprreciate it.

With the taper of the seat it will be a tight fit. The sub would have to be mounted at the very bottom of the enclosure to allow for some space between the motor and rear wall of the box. I don't see why you couln't get creative with a side firing port if you really wanted to go ported. PM Scott, Shawn or Nick. I am sure they would be willing to give you some dimensions for the build.
