will my 60 amp alternator handle this?

shit what year is your accord?

and no youve got it all wrong

320 + 300 =620

620/14.4=43

so you will only be using 43 amps out of your alt.

Total watts / 12.5 (typical voltage sag) + % efficient. Add 30% for efficiency with most class D amps (100% - 70%)

Just like anything in car audio, try it out and see if you encounter problems before upgrading everything.

I won't be running the nasty stock wiring - thanks Jack - but what is the BIG 3?

It is a better idea to replace the factory speaker wire, correct?

I just called an installor and he said yes no problem for 620 watts on the Accord but maybe he's full of s.

The thing to think about is this; your cars ignition system draws very little current. It is safe to assume your electrical system could handle that much power. However, when driving at night your lights add much more drain on the electrical system that is also powering your ignition and your system. I like to liveby these words: "better safe than sorry". If you have the money upgrade your electrical system. Battery, alternator, wiring. 4 gauge will be fine for the power wire. Some people in here are "anti-cap", not me. If you like em use em. Right now I'm running 800 watts (PPI watts) off the stock alternator. If I had the money I would definetly upgrade my alt.
