Will I regret getting my system installed at Best Buy?

Sup guys. I'm in SW Florida and I've exhausted the short list of local car audio shops here. There's only one in town that does custom installations of equipment bought elsewhere, but I already stormed out of there after being completely scammed.

I have a pair of component speakers, a 4 channel amp, mono amp and enclosed sub to install in my '08 Nissan Pathfinder. I'm not looking for anything crazy or elaborate; I just want a clean, working installation with no wires sticking out anywhere. I have an appointment with the local BestBuy on Sunday to do the install for around $350. The system cost about $2200 on Crutchfield, so that's a price I'm happy to pay (doing it myself is not an option - I am totally clueless about electronics/any kind of DIY).

The guy doing my install seems okay, but what do I know? He's not a teenager, at least, and doesn't seem like an idiot. Should I be alright? The sub is a JL Audio 10" W7, two Alpine amps and two pairs of Alpine components (SPX-13REFs for the front doors and SPR-13Ss for the rear).

I'm in Naples specifically, so on the off chance anyone is from around here and knows anywhere, please let me know. Thanks.

To be honest its hit or miss. Ive had a few friends work for CC and BB. out of 3 of them i would only trust 1 of them with my car. although they were all "certified" installers, i feel that just a couple years of reading threads on here that I know more than they do.

theres also a couple threads on here that i remember hearing where they ended up frying someones HU and refusing to replace it cause they didnt buy it there.

getting an HU installed there i probably wouldnt worry, but letting them do anything else id be worried. chances are the install will not look as well as you might want it to .

I would, but I don't have the speaker wire or any tools or anything. All I've got is two amp wiring kits, and Tampa is 2 and a half hours away, which is a long drive. I appreciate the offer, though.

You guys really think I should go somewhere else? I bought the official JL enclosure with the W7, so literally all I need the guy to do is bolt it down to the SUV and secure the amps somewhere, plus run the wiring. They can't even be trusted to do that competently?

speaker wire like 12-16gauge? its like 10 bucks for enough to do the job? naples is kinda far.. i have all the tools.. They charge a "Sub installation fee" putting a sub in a box..

if you want to save 220ish give or take gas im here.. let me know..if you make it 175 i will come to you.. coming to me would be easier though so i have all the tools..

I will walk you through everything im doing and take any input you have too.. let me know..
