Sup guys. I'm in SW Florida and I've exhausted the short list of local car audio shops here. There's only one in town that does custom installations of equipment bought elsewhere, but I already stormed out of there after being completely scammed. I have a pair of component speakers, a 4 channel amp, mono amp and enclosed sub to install in my '08 Nissan Pathfinder. I'm not looking for anything crazy or elaborate; I just want a clean, working installation with no wires sticking out anywhere. I have an appointment with the local BestBuy on Sunday to do the install for around $350. The system cost about $2200 on Crutchfield, so that's a price I'm happy to pay (doing it myself is not an option - I am totally clueless about electronics/any kind of DIY). The guy doing my install seems okay, but what do I know? He's not a teenager, at least, and doesn't seem like an idiot. Should I be alright? The sub is a JL Audio 10" W7, two Alpine amps and two pairs of Alpine components (SPX-13REFs for the front doors and SPR-13Ss for the rear). I'm in Naples specifically, so on the off chance anyone is from around here and knows anywhere, please let me know. Thanks.
