Yeah, do BIG 3 first, then HO Alternator, finally if your voltage is still dropping get a new battery. I spoke with a rep over at Ohio Generators and he didn't suggest the yellow top for my sytem. I'm running about 2000 watts. Reason being is because he said you want a battery that discharges and recharges quickly. Optima Yellow tops don't recharge that fast. He suggested Kinetik and Westco SVR batteries. I just order a Kinetik HC1800. Wanted to get the HC2000 but it wouldn't fit in the stock location.
DO NOT BUY A CAPACITOR, do it the right way like everyone has stated above. Start off with the big 3, HO Alt, and if necessary upgrade your battery. There is no reason at all to start off buying a capacitor, you will just cause more strain on your electrical system and run into more problems down the road. Do it the right way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifi dont see any reason for a new battery unless your lights are dimming or its obvious you need more power or if when the bass hits it sounds muddy and it all depends on what battery u got in there..mine does fine...id throw a capacitator in there and if u have any future problems change the battery or alternator in any case either 1 of these will solve ur problems if u have aany but id start off with a capacitator cuz ull need it eventually if u plan on upgrading more anyway
