Will I need a HO Alt?

If I'm running 2 L7's, just a set of 6x9's and a set of 6.5's, plus maybe 4 powerhorns, while also doing the regular big three, will I need a HO alt? Its on a civic but with a GSR swapped in to it.

^^do you randomly poast in every thread? that's all i've seen lately.

anything over 1000 watts i'd upgrade the alternator. and i'd ALWAYS upgrade the main battery

I'd at least get a better battery under the hood, the big 3 and possibly a second battery if you don't want to fiddle with a new alt.

Yeah I'm trying to avoid an alternator upgrade. I know it was said somewhere before that civics generally have a weak alternator, but with the engine swap to the GSR gives me a different alternator. I'm not sure if its a generally better alt or by how much, but if I do the big three and run a better battery under my hood, do you guys think I should be fine? Or even running a second battery? What would you say is absolutely needed?

I'm assuming they're 12's since I could only fit 1 ported 15 in a Civic in the proper box? which if powered correctly should bring you to at least 1500W for your substage Plus other accessories. An alt wouldnt be a bad idea for any furture upgrades but the main battery + big 3 is a must..

Yeah, that has me debating. I really don't want to go the HO Alt.

I'm not sure at this point, because I'm going to have to base this off doing the most that I can while staying under the need for a HO Alt.
