Will I need a battery for this setup?

2x 13w7's each powered by a 1000/1 amp

4x Jl audio XR650CSi component speakers powered by a 300/4 amp

1x JVC shx850 HU

I'm not sure how much juice these will draw overall so I was wondering if I would need any batteries or capacitors for it. Thanks

i agree, big three with 1/0 gauage and you should be fine.

The Big Three won't help you much if you plan to listen with the engine off for extended periods of time. In that case, a deep cycle battery is the only way to go...

But I would recommend both a HO alternator if the stock one isn't up to par and an extra deep cycle battery.

if primarily listening with engine running just do the "big 3" and you should be fine...thats unless your running a 60 amp alt.. you'll be fine

i have a 1500 rms amp and a 1000 rms amp...i get slight dimming...barely noticable

with

135a alt and a 900cca batt

My alternator is great so I think I should be set, if my lights dim then I will install a HO alt and I was already planning on the big 3.

Yeah the engine will be running while I run the system
