will home depot cut my wood to dimension?

x0.5

I make out a cutsheet first and then have them cut 1 inch bigger for the panels I need then cut the rest at home w/ my cheap $99 10" table saw.

that is what i did. I made the width an extra inch. and did the rest at home. We have a car and prob could not fit a half sheet

usually first cut is free...each additional cut I'm thinking 50 cents or so...they are usually off up to a 1/2 inch...but If you talk to the cutter maybe throw him a $10 spot ...he can probally get you some precise cuts...They can't do angles...only straight cuts...so you are limited
Truth. I used to give tell the guy beforehand, get a $10 spot if the cuts are exact... and then they never charge for the cuts either.

Also, the best way to get exact cuts... it to already have a cut-sheet laid out on a piece of paper similar to the sheet of wood. Then when you get to Lowe's/HD... take a measuring tape... and pencil... and draw the cuts on the sheet of wood itself.

Don't forget to account for blade width.
